Under Covers of the Night is an episode about playing and discussing some very cool rock cover songs that Sonny and I discovered.
When Sonny and I started to discuss doing a covers episode recently, our research quickly turned up a massive number of cover songs out there in the universe. Some awesome and some complete crap. Some extremely close to the original and some completely unrecognizable.
You have cover songs that are part of tribute albums to a designated band or artist. You have cover songs that were created for a sound track to a movie or TV show.
At the end of the day, we decided that we were going to have to do more episodes in the future about cover songs. But for now, we had a load of fun digging for cover gems and even though we don’t always agree on what is good and what is bad, we do agree we love to Rock n Roll.
