We invite our friend Tony Musallam from the California rock band Restrayned to review the Van Halen album For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge. It’s the band’s ninth studio album and said to be a return back to the band’s hard rock roots.
A Little Bit about Van Halen’s For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge:
The album was produced by Andy Johns and Ted Templeman. For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge won a Grammy for best hard rock performance and went on to sell over 3 million albums. The album included such hits as Poundcake, Right Now, and Top Of The World.
The album is often referred to as the F.U.C.K. record, but FUCK is NOT the acronym For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge as it was rumored to have been from a friend of Sammy Hagar’s.
