This Ain’t No Disco ’96 – EP088

Episode Description

In this episode, it’s time for another installment of “This Ain’t No Disco.” We discuss and play hard rock and metal music released in 1996.

What’s It All About?

This ain’t no disco ’96, but for sure it’s a change in the landscape of Rock n Roll.

It’s time for another installment of This Ain’t No Disco, and this time we head back to 1996 and we find that the hard rock and metal we loved so much in the late 80’s and early 90’s was vastly changing and becoming industrialized and very different from what we grew up loving. One thing is for sure, no matter how the guitar strap is hung, you can always find a good dose of rock n roll if you know where to look for it. And believe me, in 1996 you had to look under all sorts of rocks to find it.

Everyone’s got a Rock N Roll story to tell, so tell us yours @growinuprock.com

  1. Great episode! You guys definitely have chemistry. You should pepper in some desert island album type episodes, maybe cover the entire album play a few songs, etc. I’m sure Hollywood has some interesting ones LOL

    1. That’s a great idea!! – I love it. We are trying to save some of our Top 5 and 10 bands to do complete episodes. Thanks for listening and thanks for the feedback – Love It.
