Steven’s Mixed Tapes – Volume 1 EP98

Episode Description:

The idea behind Steven’s mixed tapes is basically to play some great rock music while sharing a few stories about growing up. Steven’s mixed tapes is basically my version of a radio show. Radio wishes it played kick-ass music like this and without the commercials or yearly subscription fees.

What’s The Story?

When I was a kid in school, I made it a point to put together mixed cassettes of all the bands and songs I loved. Every time a new record came out or I read about some band in Kerrang magazine, I picked up the cassette and dubbed it off in my state of the art duel cassette player. I would bring them to school the next day and share them with all my metalhead buddies.

  1. Now that’s what I’m talking about!! I’ll take a Solo episode like this from one of you every week and maybe an episode with both of you once a month. Love it! Great job Steven. Now tell Hollywood to get off his lazy butt and record another Wild Hair LMAO

    1. Thanks for listening and thanks for the feedback. You will get some more of these episodes. I don’t think we will be doing these each week, as you heard, I hate talking to myself LOL – BUT – we will continue to give you a good mixture of everything including great rock n roll with any episode we do.

  2. LOVE LOVE LOVE the solo episodes. Great job Steve. You and your co-host should do at least one of these solo episodes every 3 months. I suggest bringing in some of your personal friends during the episodes to inject some different conversation similar to Damn Good Movie Memories.

    1. Thanks for listening. We appreciate the feedback. Funny you should mention the “friend” thing. Keep listening, we got something coming up for you in the next few weeks. Guessing from your user ID your, a Hollywood friend? Or at least a California brother or sister. Cheers, once again thanks for listening.

  3. Loved the episode. I think Steven plays better music but Sonny tells better stories. I guess put them together and you get one AMAZING podcast host LMAO
