The guys share their stories of discovering the music of Extreme, their memories of seeing the band live, and go album by album through the band’s career.
Episode 1
In this introductory episode, your hosts discuss their memories of seeing the band live as far back as 1990 with Alice In Chains. They also break down some of the early pre-Extreme days from both Gary with The Dream and Nuno with Sinful, including a few rare tracks from the aforementioned, before jumping into the Extreme discography.
Episode 2
In 1989, Extreme made their debut with a self-titled record on A&M Records that was kinda, sorta produced by legendary producer Mack. In this second episode of the Pod O’ Graffiti series, your hosts share their thoughts on this debut album. Tons of trivia, a bunch of little factoid nuggets, a close examination of the lyrics both immature and deep, lots of “Nuno’s solo is really fantastic!”, talk of B-sides, along with a few detours into Mozart, CSNY, two drink minimums, and drunken karaoke.
