Everyone’s Got A Rock N Roll Story To Tell

When I started Growin’ Up Rock, I wanted to share music and memories that took me from being a kid in a small town with walls and ceilings plastered in posters of all my favorite rock stars to behind the scenes action on stages around the world.

I not only wanted to include some of  the music and stories that were important and sentimental to me, but share in the musical memories that were important to the massive amount of rock fans all over the world when they were growing up.

I wanted it to feel like old high school friends sitting around catching up over drinks in Anytown in the world and reminiscing about the many concerts attended and hanging out blasting tunes on that old clunker of a car we drove in high school .

It doesn’t matter if you’re a Rockstar, Parent, Grandparent, working 9 to 5, or playing in front of 20,000 people. Everyone has a rock n roll story or memory that is important to them and so, it’s important to this show.

Those memories deserve to be heard and shared all over the world, because they connect with listeners and readers taking them right back to that place and time in their life when hopefully life a was little more simpler and much more fun.

I said it before and I will say it again, Sonny and I are massive music fans with everyday lives. We have families, work normal jobs, and get together each week to talk about hard rock and metal music, interview the occasional rockstar musician, play some tunes, and share it with all the world which we hope will listen, interact, and be entertained.
