This week we are joined by special guest Brian Davis from the Damn Good Movie Memories Podcast to review Van Halen’s album, 1984.
A Little Bit about Van Halen’s 1984:
1984 was Van Halen’s sixth studio album. Released in January 1984, it went on to sell over 10 million albums worldwide. It became the band’s second Diamond certified album. With classics such as Panama, Jump, and Hot For Teacher, it solidified the band’s career in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. It would also signal the end of the road with singer David Lee Roth for 20 years, before he rejoined the band in 2004.
Each month in 2021, we will invite a special guest on the show to do a album review for each of the 12 Van Halen studio albums. In December, we will release the final album review and a episode where we rank all 12 of those albums. We hope you will join us each month and enjoy these episodes as much as we enjoy putting them together for you.
