In the 80s, there was no rock band bigger than the mighty Van Halen. The guitar playing of Eddie Van Halen and the ringmaster antics of David Lee Roth had a lasting effect on every rock band coming up in the 80s and beyond.
Given the impression Van Halen made on so many bands we loved back in the 80s and still love today, we thought it fitting to discuss a few different hard rock bands and artist that may have been influenced by Van Halen either in their playing, their look, or their music. See if you agree, the bands we play in this episode may have borrowed a trick or two from the mighty Van Halen.
