Foreigner Bio
Foreigner is a British–American rock band, originally formed in 1976 by veteran English musician and ex-Spooky Tooth member Mick Jones, and fellow Briton and ex-King Crimson member Ian McDonald along with American vocalist Lou Gramm.
Besides being the founding member and guitarist, Mick Jones also came up with the name Foreigner, based on the fact that the band was made up of members from Britain and the US, and no matter where they played they would always be considered foreigners.
Foreigner has sold more than 80 million records worldwide and 37.5 million records in the US. They are one of the best selling rock bands of all time.
