What’s The Story?
Saxon is a band that was crucial in helping me to develop my taste in hard rock and metal music as a teenager growing up in the early 80s. I first discovered the band on a weekly trip to the mall record store, where I’d spend hours reading Kerrang magazine. My first money was spent picking up an import cassette of the very first Eagle Has Landed live record. From the opening of “Motorcycle Man,” it was clear this was to be a new musical love for me. – Steven Michael
