We celebrate back 2 back album release awesomeness. In addition, I give my review of the recent Dio Hologram concert.
What’s The Story?
People in the music business have been using the term “sophomore jinx” for years to describe bands that had all their lives to write an amazing debut album, only to follow it up with a heaping pile of crap. In this episode, we celebrate a few of our favorite bands that released two albums back-to-back that were killer from start to finish. This does not need to be the first two albums in a bands catalog, but merely two albums that were released back-to-back in the band’s career. In addition to all of that great rock n roll, I give the details of the Dio hologram concert I recently attended. Was Dio eaten by a dragon on stage? Does he appear in the latest Game of Thrones? Does he greet you at the door of the concert venue? Find out all the answers, as I cover it in detail.
