Lead singer Guernica Mancini from Thundermother joins me to discuss the bands upcoming release “Heatwave.” I also get some of the facts from Guernica about her career and how she ended up in Thundermother.
Thundermother were formed in 2010 and released two studio albums, before completely having to reform in 2017. Founder and guitarist Filippa Nässil did a great job of putting together a new and strong lineup. Front woman Guernica Mancini gives the songs a unique touch with her blues-soaked voice. The band is completed by the hard rhythms of drummer Emlee Johansson and Majsan Lindberg on bass. Since the new lineup, the band released 2018’s self titled album and are now set to release it’s fourth studio album “Heatwave.”
