We catch up with former Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Gus G. and discuss growing up in Greece and getting into Rock n Roll for the first time. We also get into the release of his band Firewind’s latest album. The self-titled album will be the bands first album with new singer Herbie Langhans.
Konstantinos Karamitroudis (Greek: Κωνσταντίνος Καραμητρούδης born 12 September 1980), also known as Gus G, is a Greek guitarist. He currently plays with his band Firewind. He has also played in Mystic Prophecy, Nightrage, Arch Enemy, Dream Evil and for Ozzy Osbourne.
Firewind Bio
Firewind was formed in 1998 by Gus G, as a collection of music used to spotlight his playing. The band has eight studio albums, nine including the self-titled one released May 15, 2020. The band has had several lineup changes which we discuss, but has recently settled upon:
Gus G. – lead guitar
Petros Christodoulidis – bass, backing vocals
Johan Nunez – drums
Herbie Langhans – Singer
