This week, I talk to Eclipse lead singer Erik Martensson about their new album Paradigm and the upcoming European tour. If you are a listener of the show, you know how much Sonny and I love this band. As a complete bonus, Sonny and I go track-by-track on the new album and give our thoughts, as well as rank the album alongside the rest of the Eclipse albums.
Eclipse was formed in 1999 in Stockholm by singer/guitarist/bassist Erik Mårtensson and former drummer/keyboardist Anders Berlin. Together with guitarist Magnus Henriksson they received a record deal with English label Z Records. The band’s debut album, The Truth and A Little More, was released in 2001.
The band currently consist of :
- Erik Mårtensson – vocals, guitar, bass (1999–present)
- Magnus Henriksson – guitar (1999–present)
- Philip Crusner – drums (2015–present)
- Victor Crusner – bass (2019–present)
