Steven and Sonny both discuss the Grunge movement in the 90s, but with a look at their top 5 songs that would have fit very nicely with some of the hard rock and metal coming out of the 80s.
Grunge was often hated by those of us who grew up in the 80s loving the Sunset Strip hard rock music. Did Grunge kill hair bands? I don’t know about that, but it for sure became the focal point of record labels, MTV, radio, and music fans, thereby killing the interest that once made hair bands so successful.
